Explain My Pitch home

For grants, awards and competitions

Help the panel see what you see.

A short, narrated, captioned video of your grant application, funding bid, award entry or competition pitch, written from the application itself, so assessors meet your idea the way you would explain it in person.

Explain My Pitch for grants and competitions (1:12, captioned). About this video and its transcript

Who it is for

Anyone asking a panel for money or a place: charities and community groups, researchers, small firms, social enterprises, artists and students.

Grant and funding applications

Where a funder asks for a video, or welcomes one, yours sets out the need, the plan, the budget and the difference it will make, from the application's own words.

Awards and competitions

An award entry or a competition pitch, explained in a short video for judges who are reading dozens of entries.

Sharing it afterwards

Won the grant? The same video tells supporters, partners and your community what the funding is for.

Always follow the funder's or organiser's rules first: some ask for a video of a set length or format, and some do not accept one. Choose a length up to 5 minutes when you order.

Built, not generated

Every word on screen is typeset and every chart is plotted from your application's own figures, rather than painted by an image model, so nothing in it is made up. Nothing is rendered until you approve the script.

Says what you approved

Our specialised AI agents draft the script and you edit and approve it. Assessors hear your case as you approved it, not a model's paraphrase of it.

No video skills needed

Upload the PDF, say who it is for, read the script, and approve it. We do the rest, and 3 revision rounds are included.

An honest, synthetic narrator

Choose from 28 high-quality synthetic voices in English, British and American, women and men, with different pitches and paces, and listen to each on the order form. Every video says its narrator is synthetic, so you can tell a funder exactly how it was made.

The whole process, from deck upload to finished video, takes just a few minutes. Useful when the deadline is closer than you would like.

Before you upload

Your own application is yours to adapt. If it quotes someone else's material, such as a chart from a published report, a redrawn video in our own drawings avoids copying it; copyright and your video explains the difference.

If your document is confidential, flag it when you upload: nothing from a flagged document is shared or published. We cannot yet process confidential documents, but you can prepare and save the order, and we will email you when we can. Read the FAQ.

See what to have ready before you order: the document, the audience, the length, a widescreen video or Shorts, and your brand.

A charity or a research team?

If several of you apply for funding through the year, a pack of credits or the enterprise plan lets a team share one account.
